AK Steel Named To Fortune Magazine’s Most Admired Companies List

 

Middletown, OH, February 25, 2005—AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) has been named as one of “America’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine.  The listing appears in the March 7, 2005 edition of Fortune, a leading financial publication.

According to Fortune, ratings for the list result from a survey of 10,000 executives, directors and securities analysts.   The surveys rate eight criteria including innovation, employee talent, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment and quality of products and services.
